Kylie Venticinque
Biography
Kylie Venticinque is a movement artist from Raleigh, North Carolina. She recently completed her B.A. in Dance and is currently finishing her minor in Apparel at Appalachian State University. Her work is driven by a love of visual storytelling and a desire to create immersive, emotionally honest performances. With a background that blends contemporary, modern, and physical theater, she thrives in multidisciplinary environments that push creative boundaries and invite new ways of engaging with dance across all avenues of visual design.
She has choreographed six original staged works, a site-specific evening piece, and a dance film—each exploring her interest in multidisciplinary collaboration and bold, theatrical aesthetics.
Alongside her choreographic work, Kylie has developed a distinct voice as a stylist. She served as a head stylist and shoot director for The Collective, a student-run fashion magazine, where she led editorial shoots from concept to execution. That role further fueled a deep love for clothing as a form of expression and narrative, and she continues to pursue styling projects with photographers, clients, and any creative teams looking to bring visions to life.
As a performer, Kylie has appeared in works by Matt Luck, Dana Metz, Ravid Abarbanel, Sam Stone, Hayden Fredrick, and Ashley Lindsey — she also appeared in Evolve, a film directed by Gina Menichino and choreographed by Cat Cogliandro in New York City. This past year Kylie also performed as a featured soloist at the Gracious Hands Charity Gala in Charlotte, NC and enjoys bringing dance to spaces that may not be familiar with the art form.
Her training outside of the university setting includes the 2024 Soul Escape Intensive in Dallas, the ANCHOR Intensive in Brooklyn, and the 2025 American Dance Festival, where she attended on a merit-based scholarship and performed in Blueprints of Home by Ravid Abarbanel as part of ADF’s Footprints program.
As both a creator and educator, Kylie is passionate about making space for experimentation, connection, and artistic growth. Post Grad, she plans to continue creating, performing, teaching, and eventually pursue an MFA in Choreography to further her research in immersive performance.
